Earth Magnetosphere
FreeReal-time 3D bow shock, magnetopause, aurora curtains, and substorm dynamics. Driven by live Kp index, IMF Bz, and solar wind pressure from NOAA SWPC.
Explore simulationExplore the Sun's corona, Earth's magnetosphere, space weather events, and deep stellar systems — powered by live satellite feeds and physically accurate WebGL simulations. Built for researchers, educators, and anyone who wants to understand the cosmos that shapes our world.
Each simulation runs on real physics equations and pulls from live satellite feeds. What you see is what's actually happening — right now.
Real-time 3D bow shock, magnetopause, aurora curtains, and substorm dynamics. Driven by live Kp index, IMF Bz, and solar wind pressure from NOAA SWPC.
Explore simulationParker spiral solar wind, coronal heating, active region tracking, and real-time GOES X-ray flux. CME events pulled from NASA DONKI with impact time estimates.
Explore simulationFull NOAA/SWPC dashboard with heliosphere 3D visualization, storm alerts, aurora forecast, and solar flare history. The control room for space weather operators.
Explore simulationMulti-star system simulator — Sirius binary orbital mechanics, Betelgeuse convection, Vega rapid rotation, WR 102 Wolf-Rayet winds. Kepler integration with real stellar parameters.
Explore simulationNavigate the Milky Way's spiral arms, stellar populations, and our position in the galaxy. Positions calculated from VSOP87 ephemeris and parallax-corrected Hipparcos catalog data.
Explore simulationEvery number in this app comes from a real satellite instrument. No models substituting for measurements. When a solar flare fires, you see it within 60 seconds.
Most space visualizations are pre-rendered or decorative. Ours compute the physics equations live and pull actual satellite telemetry — the same data NASA mission operators use.
Geomagnetic storm indices, solar wind velocity, IMF Bz, X-ray flux, and CME arrival times update continuously from NOAA SWPC, NASA DONKI, and GOES satellites. Storm mode escalates refresh rates to 20 seconds when Kp ≥ 6 or an X-class flare fires.
Simulations implement published equations: Parker spiral solar wind, Shue et al. (1998) magnetopause, Rankine-Hugoniot bow shock, VSOP87 planetary ephemeris, and McPherron (1995) substorm index — not artistic approximations.
Three.js with custom GLSL shaders, HDR bloom post-processing, and GPU-accelerated particle systems. Up to 50,000 particles per scene. Runs entirely in your browser — no downloads, no installs, no plugins.
